What Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities Would Make You a Great Fit?
- 3–5+ years Salesforce development experience (or equivalent complex platform work).
- Strong in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce architecture fundamentals.
- Comfortable with integrations, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, scratch orgs, code reviews.
- Preferred certifications: Platform Developer I (strong), PDII/App Builder (nice to have).
- Soft skills that shine clear communication, ownership, problem-solving, and collaborative delivery. Strong emotional intelligence
Technical Skills Needed
- Apex: Classes, triggers, async patterns (Batch/Queueable/Scheduled), test strategies, bulkification.
- Lightning: LWC (primary), Aura (maintenance), SLDS, UX patterns for enterprise users.
- Web: Modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS; strong grasp of browser/network fundamentals.
- Data: SOQL/SOSL, data modeling, sharing/security, performance tuning.
- Integrations: REST/SOAP, platform events/streaming, Bulk API, OAuth/JWT auth patterns.
- Tooling/DevOps: Git, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs/sandboxes, CI/CD pipelines, code review.
Key Concepts & Methodologies
- Salesforce architecture: object/security model, governor limits, scalability best practices.
- Delivery: Agile/Scrum, iterative releases, backlog management, estimation.
- DevOps/Release: metadata deployments, branching strategy, automated testing, environment strategy.
- Integration mindset: mapping, error handling, retries, idempotency, observability/logging.
Really Nice-to-Have Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Success in This Role Include:
- ERP literacy (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and understanding of financial workflows.
- Business process fluency in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Bonus: Record-to-Report (R2R) awareness.
- Ability to turn messy real-world operations into structured, auditable system design.
