About the Role:

You will work on a small, dedicated team with a project manager and other supporting staff members serving as the IFI Insights Subject Matter Expert, help drive internal process improvement efforts and manage the client’s expectations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with personnel at all levels from front-line Payroll/Accounting professionals to Controllers and CFOs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of multiple projects and successfully deliver high-quality and timely results./li>
  • Be an extremely effective communicator understanding the significance and appropriate use of various communication channels and tone based on circumstances and audience. /li>
  • Serve as the Company Representative with clients and skillfully navigate all conversations, from the introduction to long-term relationship building./li>
  • Coordinate with cross-functional resources to deliver results against defined timelines and client accounting business requirements./li>
  • Anticipate project risks and issues, confidently address all challenges, mitigate risks and issues, and escalate to appropriate parties where required. /li>
  • Update system setup as requested by the project manager, test and validate the updates, and obtain customer acceptance and signoff. /li>
  • Review client-provided data and work with the client on any missing or inaccurate information./li>
  • Overview of team chart of account mapping efforts. Validate and tie out of financials post from the financial data migration./li>
  • Self-manage workload and tasks effectively in a remote work environment and within deadlines./li>
  • Maintain frequent and clear communication with team members to ensure collaboration and transparency./li>
  • Take initiative in identifying and solving problems without requiring direct oversight.

Requirements & Skills Needed to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • A minimum of 2 Years of professional accounting experience in a Staff Accountant capacity
  • Previous experience implementing new ERP systems required
  • The ideal candidate will have two or more years of professional experience which includes a balanced combination of accounting, analytical skills, client relationship management, and systems implementation (ERP).
  • An ability to pick up and learn new technologies quickly.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable and craft requirements that are easy for multiple audiences to consume.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to create structure and manage ambiguity with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
