This is a newly created career opportunity in an area of our business which is rapidly expanding. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to put their personal mark on a brand-new work product aimed at creating and delivering training content for our clients and employees in Sage Intacct. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Sage Intacct Accounting expert who understands how transactions flow within the system and the implementation process. This is an opportunity of building a training curriculum from the ground up!

  • Develop training objectives, curriculum, and supplemental material required for a successful training experience (for internal/external audience consumption).
  • Lead our new customers through a defined training program to ensure a successful user experience.
  • Evaluate and interpret training and development needs and develop appropriate and creative responses based on feedback and outcomes, while developing best practices along the way.
  • Develop a certification/assessment program to ensure users have successfully obtained the necessary knowledge for them to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Advise our customers, who are often accounting firms, on best practices and help guide them through the transition over to Sage Intacct.
  • Facilitate calls with client, identify deliverables or resources requirements in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Proactively obtain client feedback on what went well or didn’t go so smoothly and provide appropriate input and recommended changes to the Product Manager(s).
  • Identify any system issues or future risks and work with managers to resolve them quickly.
  • Proactively support our customers with any challenges or concerns they may have.
  • Provide technical leadership to external and internal constituencies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.

Requirements & Skills Needed to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in Sage Intacct accounting software.
  • Previous experience working with client escalations, running enablement programs one-on-one with clients or hosted enablement webinars that include two or more clients at once.
  • Driven by client centricity, passionate about delivering great value & experiences to clients and ensuring their success.
  • Comfortable with identifying pain points in existing processes and making recommendations for improvements / willingness to adapt to process changes.
  • An ability to work within an environment of constant change and learning.
  • A great communicator. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable and craft requirements that are easy for multiple audiences to consume.
  • Ability to be flexible regarding ongoing development of products.
  • Well organized, disciplined approach to completion of tasks. Self-driven and accomplishment oriented.
  • Enthusiasm for and ability to effectively communicate and interact with others by phone or Zoom/video conference.
  • Applicants must be comfortable with using technology and operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
